50 Years and Still Blooming

Annual events play an essential role in people's lives as they provide opportunities to celebrate traditions and culture, bring people together, create memories, and foster a sense of community spirit.

This past week, the villages of Giraudel & Eggleston hosted the 50th anniversary of The Giraudel-Eggleston Flower Show and Market Fair, under the theme "50 Years and Still Blooming."

Keeping the spirit alive and bringing Dominicans together to celebrate the beauty of exotic flowers since 1973, with only a flower show in a schoolyard, now they boast a permanent site with a flower show and a market where patrons can buy plants.

The Giraudel-Eggleston Flower Show and Market Fair was another great day out on our Nature Island. And of course, this was the perfect opportunity to pick up a few plants for Hotel The Champs.
